Cloud Expo Paris 2023: server building in the City of Lights

We traveled a bit this November. While some of our ynvolve team members were busy networking at the MSP Global event at the Nürburgring in Germany our French-speaking team made it to the French capital for Cloud Expo Paris.

Maybe it was because of the romantic nature of this beautiful city, being close to the Eiffel Tower, or maybe it had something to do with the always-present smell of those croissants. Still, we truly enjoyed our experience in the city of lights. As did the people visiting our booth at Cloud Expo Paris for the second year in a row.

Of course, the server-building challenge helped a lot, looking at the happy crowd and the fanatic faces of the people trying to construct our servers as fast as possible. And fast they were, especially the winners: Fabien Leroy did the job in 49 seconds, Jean Najarian came in second with 44.19 seconds, but Ramsey Pet made it happen in a staggering 42.78 seconds. As usual, the winners received well-deserved recognition, Star Wars Lego prizes and took home IT World Fame for eternity.

For those who didn’t win, Cloud Expo 2023 was just as great a success as it was for us. That’s why we’re looking forward to new gatherings, meeting new people, and engaging with our colleagues and clients. And yes, we’re also excited about assembling some servers and stocking up on new Lego sets. See you soon!
