Ready, Set, Throw!

Ynvolve is sponsoring the annual NK Server Throwing competition

On September 8, 2022, members and partners of the Dutch Cloud Community (DCC) will come together for their annual Summer BBQ!

The Summer BBQ is one of the season’s most anticipated events. The most prominent Dutch cloud and hosting sector figures come together to network and participate in the one and only Dutch National Server Throwing Championship, also known as NK Serverwerpen.

During the NK Serverwerpen, IT professionals from all over the Netherlands compete against each other to win the coveted championship title. It’s a great way to come together, laugh, and have a healthy competition to blow off some steam after working all day behind a computer.

With more than 250 attendees, the event is hosted in Down Under, Nieuwegein, and scheduled to start at 15:00 with the first rounds of the competition and end with a fantastic barbecue.

The servers used in the competition are at the end of their economic lifecycle and will be sent to a specialized recycling company after the event.

Ynvolve is sponsoring the event in collaboration with Interxion.

You can sign up for the competition through the Dutch Cloud Community website. You can also enter a draw to win a practice server and training package, provided by Ynvolve. The training server and the servers featured in the competition are no longer viable for refurbishment and are ready to be recycled after the competition is completed.
