Another memorable year at NK Serverwerpen

It’s that time of the year again. Last week, on September 3rd, we took part in the NK Serverwerpen 2026, this time at a new location at Kameryck Country Estate, Oortjespad. Despite the Dutch cloudy weather, we had such a wonderful time with the Dutch Cloud Community. 

This year’s server-throwing competition brought together familiar faces, great conversations, impressive throws, a delicious BBQ, and, of course, a little healthy competition. 

The NK Serverwerpen isn’t just about who can throw a server the farthest. It’s one of those times when the Dutch IT community gets together to have a blast and spend quality time together. 

The results are nothing but impressive. Lucas van den Berg showed a striking throw, taking first place with 8,19 m. Not far behind, Wouter André Dijkhuis took second place with 8,17 m. Finally, Jelmer Schreuder took third place with her throw reaching 7,89 m. 

A big thanks to our Dutch sales team, Thanh, Sharita, Bogdan, Emanuel and Tijn, for representing us at the NK Serverwerpen 2026.  

Congratulations to all the participants who gave their best. We’re already looking forward to next year!
