NK Serverwerpen 2024 – servers, sunshine, and a stellar showdown!

Once again, we were absolutely thrilled to team up with the Dutch Cloud Community for NK Serverwerpen 2024, hosted at the scenic Down Under in Nieuwegein on September 5. And guess what? We didn’t just throw servers—we spent the day reconnecting with the vibrant Dutch Cloud network, topped off with an epic barbecue, all under the rare treat of sunny skies in the Netherlands!

The server-throwing competition brought some severe excitement. Thom van Hal from Cloudbear stole the show with an incredible 12.60-meter throw, clinching first place in style. Our colleague Tim Scholten wasn’t far behind, impressing the crowd with an 11.20-meter throw. The third spot went to Maurits de Graaff whose solid 9.30-meter throw rounded out the top performances.

A massive shoutout to our Ynvolve crew—Eefje, Xander, Tim, and Tony—for representing us with enthusiasm and energy. And, of course, a huge thank you to the Dutch Cloud Community for organizing yet another fantastic event. We’re already looking forward to more fun and competition at next year’s NK Serverwerpen!
